Date Nite Restaurant Review “Ruby Tuesday Alcoa Tn.”

20150213_174559

Over the years I have  enjoyed  Dinner and Lunch At Ruby Tuesday many times. From Its start near the campus of the University of Tennessee Knoxville till now. Had some good food and times at the location that was near the 2600 block of Chapman Highway. It closed after the hail storm of  2011 it was missed by all. By the way what happened to all the Young High and South High memorabilia? Well any way, we were stuck with the one located at 7406 Chapman Highway. Very slow service each time we went, the last time we waited about 15 minutes after we were seated for a server.  When no one came we left and went to another restaurant.

It’s been a while so we decided to give it another try. We arrived at The Alcoa Highway location in near the airport a little before  5:00 PM. We were seated promptly and our order taken. Then we did not see our server again for a while. The server brought the cheddar cheese bread but they were very dry with no taste of cheddar. When our  food was brought out, it was very good. I had the Asiago Peppercorn Sirloin and Zucchini and Sharon had The Black Fire Sirloin and Zucchini. After we ate we waited and waited again for our ticket. Just a word on the skill of some of there servers one server checked back on her table on the other side of a wall from us like 5 times in 15 minutes. The manager in charge came by and took our ticket and rang us out. The manager offered to bring us a slice of cheesecake to go. The manager was on top of the slow server problem.  As we were leaving walking to our car we were brought two coupons for buy one dinner and get the next dinner half off.

We Will go back I am not sure when. So if you visit be aware that there is a least one slow server at this location and a least one very good server.

Book Review “Access 2013 All in one for Dummies “

Book Review By Sharon B.

My manager assigned me a project that he wanted to be tracked in an Access Database. That’s all great and wonderful except that I knew absolutely nothing about Access. So I did what any intelligent person would do, I smiled and said no problem.  I went straight to the bookstore after work and bought Access for Dummies.

After reading this book I was able to create a simple database, run queries, create forms, and compile reports. This book was extremely helpful. The only downside is the attempt at humor throughout the book. All in all I would have to give this book a score of an A. I would highly recommend it to anyone needing to learn Access.

Climate Change or Terrorist What is The Threat.

From his National Security Strategy report.
Obama declares “declaring climate change “an urgent and growing threat to our national security.”

Wake up Mr Obama terrorist and illegals walking across our border is what the threat is today.
They are bringing drugs and diseases and you are opening the door .

Dr Elizabeth Vliet states that “ the risks from diseases being brought over the border are being dramatically downplayed. Why do we think that the diseases are just popping up. Its not From our children being vaccinated our not. It is from the illegals walking them in.

Rep. Mo Brooks from Alabama states in a recent interview that these undocumented immigrants are causing the death of our children.

Wake up Mr Obama.

The Canadian government blames the current US outbreak on “imported cases.”

Radio host Rush Limbaugh says the focus on vaccinations in the wake of the measles outbreak is a “leftist Democratic trick” to divert attention from the presidents DOA budget plan.

Obama s open border policy is has brought this disease in and he is to blame for the deaths of our children.

IN these cases there are very little proof or none I believe mostly covered up to hide these facts.

We need a program in place where each person is heard and there words counted. Oh we do its our election process. The only problem is our voices are not heard and two our three think they know what we the people want. They don’t. I call for a national wide call on the White house and says please for the good of the country resign Obama, resign Nancy Pelosi and please retire Mr Reed.

A new Life After Layoff

325 I was 49 years old when the company that I had worked for nearly 18 years closed the doors. I had never drawn unemployment. I was lost and didn’t know which way to turn.

My husband Paul and I decided to downsize and move to the country. We sold our house in the city and started the journey to find a new job.

We started a new blog to log our tests and paths that we have had to follow.
