This was our 3rd visit to this I.H.O.P. since moving to this area. For years I have visited the 7128 Kingston pike location in Knoxville, TN and have always had great service.  Todays visit to the Maryville, TN Location was the worst. Overall the staff seems very stiff and unfriendly. My wife’s food was cold and so were  my eggs. I had country steak, gravy and eggs. The steak was the only thing hot. I did eat all my food, but my wife was only able to eat her pancakes. She ordered a spinach omelet that was left under a heat lamp for 10 minutes. The pancakes we were served were fresh and hot pancakes. After we talked to the manager he gave us a 20% discount. We left the cash for the bill on the table and left. The waitress chased us down in the parking lot wanting the rest of the money and a tip. The manager didn’t communicate to her that the ticket should reflect a 20% difference. It was extremely embarrassing to be treated like we were skipping on our bill. I Do not Plan to ever go back and  I would advise caution if you do plan to visit.
